Had a great 'staff party' REALLY good fun, and now we are all seriously looking forward to next season.
I rode Harry today on a very hard ride up a lot of hills and he felt amazing. We are just holding out for the rain as he really needs a run and is clearly 100% after he had the virus early on in the season, but now the ground has gone against us. It is SO frustrating. Who would be a proper trainer?! I take my hat off to them!!
The mad chook has calmed down a little although she thinks she's a dog and follows me everywhere with the occasional fracas with one of the 'real' dogs

- Pauline has been race riding her own horses in point to points for 15 years and is now training with Doug. Pauline has recently got her trainers permit. They are both passionate about National Hunt racing and achieving maximum potential from their horses in the best possible way. This is why ‘Equine Fitness’ is a very exciting new business for them. In 2006 Doug eventually plucked up the courage (it only took 7 years!) to propose to Pauline whilst they were on holiday in the Maldives and they married in the Lake District in June 2007.
