Leon and Laverty leaping

Doug came back from Australia last night - It was a fairly stressful trip and the death of his father effected him a lot more than he expected.

This morning we took 16 horses out and schooled 13 - Doris's and Moonie's owners came to watch them work, there was Gordon, Dave, Derek, Mary, Ninna, Robert and Sally - we took them up the gallops and then jumped them in the menage, with bacon butties and pastries to finish the morning off nicely - both Doris and Moonie worked really well and are heading in the right direction for their first run of the season - Oh dear - that's when the nerves begin.... Sadly Laverty's owners, Colin, Darren and Steve couldn't make it which is a shame as we have worked very hard to turn him around from the RSPCA case that arrived here last year and they won't believe the difference when they see him.
