We didn't run Frog at Cottenham as it was too firm - The Cambridge area has had very little rain, which is so unusual for this time of the year. We are just doing entries for next week now and have Velvet Shadow (Doris) entered for the two and a half mile maiden on Saturday and Cloudy Moon (Moonie) entered for the mares maiden and Haunted House (Aitch) entered for both the Ladies and the novice rider race on Sunday. The going is good there at the moment and there is some rain forecast for the week so hopefully it will still be good ground for next week-end.
I must apologise for the rather short posting but we have had a very busy week-end - We had supper with John and Mary Pritchard on Friday, then went to John Lees 60th last night and got home at 3.30 am and then today we had lunch with Trishia Ansell - a great week-end but feel somewhat shabby now....

- Pauline has been race riding her own horses in point to points for 15 years and is now training with Doug. Pauline has recently got her trainers permit. They are both passionate about National Hunt racing and achieving maximum potential from their horses in the best possible way. This is why ‘Equine Fitness’ is a very exciting new business for them. In 2006 Doug eventually plucked up the courage (it only took 7 years!) to propose to Pauline whilst they were on holiday in the Maldives and they married in the Lake District in June 2007.
