Well - Doris had a lovely day out and won her race easily - sadly she had unshipped Will at the second fence so it didn't really count - She got very excited and with sixteen other young horses in the race, and a loose horse next to her it was like a cavalry charge, when the second fence came up she wasn't concentrating and ploughed through it decanting poor Will - She finished the race very happy and full of running and Will is fine. The owners are a great bunch who understand horses and racing so we still had a good day and we are all here to fight another one, which is coming far too soon..... Now we have the really nerve racking day tomorrow with Amy having her first ride on Aitch with his delicate legs, and then in the maiden we have Moonie, who charges at every fence with her head in the air and has 'I'm going to fall' written all over her. I can see a fairly eventful day ahead.......
