Whisper was an absolute star!! Twelve in the race and she came a very good third, with the rest of the field a good distance away, most of which pulled up because the pace was so fast. We couldn't believe how good she was, bearing in mind this is only the second time she has been on a track - She jumped like a stag and kept galloping - Toby kept to instructions perfectly, which was to go wide to find the better ground and let her see her fences, had he gone the shortest way around she would have been bang there, but the most important thing for us was that she got around safely. Now we know she can do it she can be put in the thick of it next time and she will take some beating. Very exciting. It was a great meeting though with a huge crowd and lovely to catch up with the Woodland Pytchley lot - they are great fun and it was dark by the time we left.

Tomorrow we are taking Laverty and Jake to Paxford. Doug will be box walking tonight about his precious Jakey boy. Bless him....
