We are off to Kingston Blount with Back in a Flash. We decided against taking Dolly as although she appears to have come out of her race really well we musn't forget that she is only five and shouldn't be rushed. Flash on the other hand is decidedly lazy and needs to have as many runs as possible to get her fit.
It is a beautiful spring day and the countryside looks as though it is about to burst into life. The transformation is massive from last week where it has gone from bleak and brown to lush and green. It seems odd that the trees still haven't got leaves on yet and the daffodils are only just out and yet we are in the third week of April.
With the sun and light breeze we can only hope that the ground hasn't got too quick for Flash, who is definitely not aptly named!
