All horses very well apart from Rosie who is coughing and has promptly been moved around the back so as not to spread her germs. Bearing in mind that she is three boxes away from Jake she would not be popular if she shared her cough around.
It was a hacking out day today which would have been a lot better if it had not been pouring with rain but all the horses felt very bright and raring to go.
I entered Jake for the Cheltenham foxhunters today and we are still waiting to see the other entries. He is as well as he has ever been and it is just a question of keeping a lid on him until the big day. We watched the hunter chase at Leicester today where Gunmoney won. That stacks up Jake's form as he beat Gunmoney at Cheltenahm in May 2013. Well  done to Caroline Bailey and John Russell the jockey - he might not have the most conventional style but the sport is supposed to be an amateur one and it is great to see a true amateur in the saddle.
