All good. Dove travelled really well with little Dove and is still at her 'husband's' place patiently waiting to be seen to..
Little Cloud ran a much better race than expected last night at Worcester, keeping up with the front runners until she made a blunder a couple of fences from home and then lost her position. She finished sixth. The jockey, Peter Carberry, said that he was about to pull her up but she spotted the next hurdle and pulled his arms out trying to get to it. She absolutely loves jumping and seemed to thoroughly enjoy her race without being given a hard time, so we will give her another chance and then go from there. She was beautifully settled in the preliminaries and was much commented on as she is rather a looker and knows it.  It was a really nice evening and great that we were there to see John and Annie Docker's horse 'Forever My Friend' win the second race. We tried to make it as much like a point to point as possible and gave them a big cheer when the horse came into the winning enclosure, much to the bemusement of the 'proper' racegoers who are clearly not used to such 'unseemly' behaviour.  We are having a 'Popaway Party' tomorrow at the Carpenters Arms so we can now make it into a double celebration.
We have booked our June holiday in Greece and are now on countdown. We are leaving from Gatwick on the 20th June and can't wait..... This is the third year running we have been to this particular place in Greece and it really is idyllic. So excited!!
