Last evening we had supper with Juliet and Patrick which was great but the highlight was seeing their girls, Goody and Scruffy looking so fabulously well. Scruffy in particular, who when she first came to us in February was thin and a very worried, sad girl who didn't trust anyone. She had a really uneasy look in her eye but now you would never believe that she is the same horse. She is happy and confident and is even boss of Goody, at this stage which is amazing as Goody is such a strong character. Goody's problems in her back and her neck are looking much better since she has had the various treatments and fingers crossed we will have two very nice horses to go to war with next season.
We have just come back from a very nice meal at The Butchers Arms to celebrate our seventh wedding anniversary. As usual it was a real treat.
We are going on holiday on Friday and leaving for Gatwick tomorrow as we have an early flight in the morning. We are going to our usual haven which we absolutely love and can't wait to get there. SO excited!!
