More sad news - Our brilliant jockey, Peter Mann, has decided to hang up his boots as his battle with the scales has just got the better of him. We will miss his natural horsemanship, determination to win and sheer strength in the saddle. He has been absolutely amazing with quirky horses (I wonder why?) and his bond with Dr Kingsley (Jake) has culminated in three wins at Cheltenham including a 4th and a 7th in the Foxhunters plus countless point to point wins. He rode out for us this morning and his wicked sense of humour always lifts any mood so hopefully he will still ride out for us and remain part of the team.  We had thought that Jake was possible going to retire too but this morning he bolted around the grass field with Doug on board and has never been so strong so he will keep going until he tells us he has had enough. Jake has given Peter a retirement present - one of Spud and Poppy's puppies, and Pete is going to call him Jake
