What a FABULOUS tine we had at Stratford!  Both mares ran amazing races and we were SO proud of them. Exclusive Rights was the huge surprise. The betting market had her at 66-1 so clearly no one expected her to come anywhere but she ended up just been beaten by a short head out of 14 runners. The perfect result as we didn't actually want her to win otherwise she would have had to go into open races next year with a penalty, and our plan (or dream!) has always been to try and qualify for the Intermediate final at Cheltenham.
Popaway was also just beaten by three quarters of a length but ran a cracking race with very hot competition. She was very keen and could have done with a bigger field so that she couldn't see the front, so Immie did really well to keep a lid on her but she made a bad mistake at the second fence from home which probably cost her the race. It was lovely to see Penmore Mill win though who has always been a bit of a favorite with me.
A great night was had by all............

Trying to stay calm before the race

Huge relief to see her home safely
