We are all set for Ampton tomorrow with Glory Hunter and Velvet Steel. Both schooled really well earlier on in the week and are raring to go.Clare Hart (Hardwick) is at Sheriff Hutton on Sunday where there isn't an Intermediate so we are hoping to run Exclusive Rights at Larkhill or Black Forest Lodge and Cupachai who was seen by the chiropractor yesterday still has a few niggles, so we will wait until he is 100% before running him again. The weather has been pretty foul but hopefully the ground won't be too heavy. It is a long journey and early start so I'm off to do the picnic now - nothing like soggy sandwiches in the freezing cold!

- Pauline has been race riding her own horses in point to points for 15 years and is now training with Doug. Pauline has recently got her trainers permit. They are both passionate about National Hunt racing and achieving maximum potential from their horses in the best possible way. This is why ‘Equine Fitness’ is a very exciting new business for them. In 2006 Doug eventually plucked up the courage (it only took 7 years!) to propose to Pauline whilst they were on holiday in the Maldives and they married in the Lake District in June 2007.
