We had a wonderful day yesterday with the children - Sophie cooked the most amazing lunch and then we all went out for a long walk with the dogs. Perfect.
Totally hand decorated with Jessica in charge of all the silver balls!

All ready for a scrumptious meal

Today we worked a few horses, in particular Ted Thistle and Top Garry and then Billy picked us up to very kindly give us a lift to Kempton races.
What a great day and incredible racing. No favourites won and there was a big shock in the King George where a 12-1 shot, Clan Des Obeaux beat the more favoured horses including Thistlecrack. It was sad to see Bristol De Mai fall but he just couldn't get into a rhythm and was unsighted at his fence. He likes to see the front and was unfortunately boxed in for most of the time. In the Christmas hurdle a little mare, Verdana Blue beat the never beaten Buveur D'Air in a thrilling finish. A great atmosphere and all horses came home safely which was good to see.

Bristol De Mai - One of my favourite horses who sadly fell during the race but was fine.
