A traditional Sri Lankan fishing boat - Doug went out with the locals fishing twice.

We are now back in the groove having had the most wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka. We have got some very special moments now to get us through the tough times that we have got ahead - These include the comforting sound of the crashing waves at night, driving through the lush Sri Lankan countryside on a motor bike, joining the local fisherman for a sing song and barbeque on the beach, seeing a turtle on the sand having just laid her eggs, watching the sea eagles circle above, hearing the fisherman singing just before dawn as they push their boats out to sea, going barefoot for ten days and best of all catching up with Jay and meeting her lovely new boyfriend and seeing her so happy.
